Joining Unit with ClinchRivet-Curver
Advantage:
Mechanically simple, rugged and reliable rivet feeding all the way from the singulator to the piece part.
Function:
The rivet is gravity fed from the singulator to the swage head, preferably installed vertically, e.g. in a press. The fill level sensor controls the singulator and stops the flow of rivets when the tube is full. If the Curver is mounted horizontally, then the tube has to be pressurized with compressed air which forces the rivets to the swage head. The rivets are fed singly inside the swage head by means of a positively controlled slider mechanism.
